Deep rock mechanics, Engineering disaster control, Soft rock engineering mechanics, Soft rock tunnel engineering support theory and technology.
4. Academic Achievement
Published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal papers, including International Journal of RMMS, RMRE, TUST. Published 4 books in Chinese. Presided 1 project of national key research and development program, 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Won 2 second-class awards for national scientific and technological progress, 1 special prize and one first-class prize for provincial and ministerial-level technological inventions, and 4 first-class awards for provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological progress. Obtained 6 international invention patents and 20 Chinese invention patents.
